Leave a Lasting Legacy in Emmaus with a QCD Donation to the Emmaus Community Foundation.
Make a meaningful impact in your community while maximizing your tax benefits by making a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA to the Emmaus Community Foundation. A QCD allows you to donate tax-free while directly supporting the projects that matter most to you—whether it's preserving historic sites, enhancing parks, supporting the arts, or funding other community projects.
Your Legacy, Your Choice
With a QCD donation, you help decide where your generosity makes a difference. Choose a specific project that aligns with your passion, and we’ll ensure your funds are used exactly as intended. Whether you want to improve our local parks, support the arts, or enhance community spaces, your contribution will create a lasting impact.
A Gift That Lives On
Your legacy can continue beyond your lifetime. Through a personalized QR code, future generations will be able to see the story behind your gift—how it shaped Emmaus and the values you stood for. Whether it’s displayed on a plaque, community building, or memorial site, your generosity will be remembered and appreciated for years to come.
Let’s build a better Emmaus together. Make your tax-free QCD today and leave a legacy that truly lasts.

A legacy gift to the Emmaus Community Foundation is one way to make a lasting impact to the Emmaus community. Making a gift through your will can not only serve as an important part of your estate planning, it can help make a lasting impact to the community. Additionally, a legacy gift can help pay tribute to a loved one or family member.
It can be as simple as making a gift in your will. The manner of giving is in your control ---- the gift may be a specific dollar amount or a percentage of your estate. The Foundation will also accept securities.
Again, while it is best to seek counsel of an attorney or financial advisor, examples would include:
“I give to the Emmaus Community Foundation, Federal Tax ID # 88-1889440, the sum of $______ for its general purposes.”
or
“I give to the Emmaus Community Foundation, Federal Tax ID # 88-1889440, [all, or percent of] the rest, residue and remainder of my estate for its general purposes.”
While more complex, the Foundation can be named as the beneficiary of a trust, or a charitable gift annuity can be established. Speak to a financial advisor or estate attorney to make sure you’ve fully addressed all relevant details.
