Emmaus 4 Mile Classic - April 12, 2026

For nearly five decades, the Emmaus 4-Mile Classic has been one of the Lehigh Valley's most enduring races along with the oldest continuously run event of its kind in the region.

On Sunday, April 12, 2026, runners will once again gather at Emmaus High School to take on the four-mile course that winds through our quiet neighborhoods and celebrates everything that makes Emmaus special.

This year, the Emmaus Community Foundation (ECF) is proud to carry the race forward after taking over stewardship from the Lehigh Valley Road Runners. The goal isn't to reinvent the Classic. It's to protect what makes it meaningful while strengthening the community connections behind it.

Amenities

All runners and volunteers receive a short-sleeve t-shirt. Refreshments, indoor bathrooms, water station, prizes available.

Race Results

Race will be professionally timed by the Bryn Mawr Racing Company. Results will be found at brynmawrracing.com

Race Bandits

A race bandit is any runner taking part in a race without the permission of the race directors, which can include but is not limited to joining the race field without registering or running while wearing another runner’s race bib. Emmaus Community Foundation (ECF) has adopted the following policy concerning runners who bandit at any of our events:

Race bandits will be banned from all ECF events for one year. If caught wearing a bib that is not your own, both parties will be banned from all ECF events for one year.
