Emmaus 4 Mile Classic - April 12, 2026

The race will start and finish at Emmaus High School and run through the quiet, residential neighborhoods of the Borough of Emmaus.

As the race celebrates its 48th year, the Lehigh Valley Road Runners have made the decision to retire this race from the club. But the race is not going away! At the completion of the 2025 event, the Emmaus Community Foundation became the governing organization for this historic race that continues to support the community of Emmaus.

Race Bandits

A race bandit is any runner taking part in a race without the permission of the race directors, which can include but is not limited to joining the race field without registering or running while wearing another runner’s race bib. Emmaus Community Foundation (ECF) has adopted the following policy concerning runners who bandit at any of our events:

Race bandits will be banned from all ECF events for one year. If caught wearing a bib that is not your own, both parties will be banned from all ECF events for one year.
